Mojo Monday #176
Ok, this is my take on todays Mojo Monday Sketch, http://www.mojomonday.blogspot.com/. I wanted to do something totally different than your normal hearts, flowers and such. I made this get well soon card for my husbands aunt, who is going through some tough health issues right now, but also wanted to make it cute and fun! I used my large scalloped nestibilities circle and make it into an easle card. I used tissue pieces to make the swirl around the front of my card. I paper pieced the dog with my CM circle patterns. Inked around all the edges to make the dog some dimention and raised his nose and eyelids with popdots. Hope you like!! I used SU! night of navy, always artichoke, soft suede and crumb cake paper colors.

Happy Lazy Sunday! Don't know about you guys, but I plan on doing nothing today, but making card creations and finishing up our D.C. trip scrapbook pages (well I do need to finish dusting, sweeping and mopping the floors sometime today, but that stuff can wait until later-no fun in that!) I am just loving my SU! Just Believe set and wanted to do another card using this set. I used two challenges for this one, http://www.kgiron.blogspot.com/, Sweet Sunday Sketch Challenge and http://www.stampinwithstacey.blogspot.com/, Curtain Call Color Challenge. My favorite two Sunday challenges!!

Valentine Mini Medallion Card
Ok, well it has been forever since I have posted any of my creations on my blog. With Christmas things was just crazy here at home. Well not its time to get back into the swing of things. I found a ladies blog where she made this mini medallion and just loved it. I have been wanting to recreate it for sometime now and just have not done it. I thought making it into a Valentine card would be great, so that is what I have done. Here is the link to her blog where she shows you how to make it, www.ewenstyle.com/2010/08/mojo-mini-medallion.html
I loved her layout so much that I recreated the whole thing, this lady has so much tallent with her punches. Hope you like it and as always please let me know what you think!
Materials used:
* SU! black, vanilla and cranberry paper, vanilla satin ribbon.
* Drk red bling on each medallion and small black bling under the phrase.
* I also have a layer of vanilla on the inside with a cranberry red medallion in the lower corner
