Well August is a busy month for me with Birthdays! I finished my moms card, my older sisters card and now I have just completed my other older sisters card. I also created this card for http://thepaperplayers.blogspot.com/. This weeks sketch is really nice and this worked perfect for what I wanted to do with her card.
If you can see in this picture, I used pop dots and layered pieces of the flower and the leaf to the far right. I think it turned out so nice and I think she will love it.
SU! supplies used:
- cardstock colors of: rich razzleberry, very vanilla, river rock and springtime vintage DSP (retired)
- ink colors: certainly celery for leaves, rich razzleberry for the flower and choc. chip for the sentiment
- stamp sets: Happiness Shared and Happiest Birthday Wishes
- ribbon: rich razzleberry seam binding ribbon
Cynthia, love the layered flowers! This really is a great sketch! I am sure she will love the card! Thanks for playing with the Paper Players this week!
