Country Christmas w/ Stamping 411 #232

 Boy did it feel good to be in "The Nook" (for those who don't know, that's the name of my craft room)!  It seems, I'm either busy with Christmas shopping, Cub Scout stuff or just the everyday busy stuff that goes on, that it feels like for ever since I have done something fun, creative and for me and my blog.  Well, wait no further, its here!  This card was made for one of my favorite challenge blogs, http://stamping411.blogspot.com/.  Click on over and check all the details for this weeks sketch.  So simply, but yet so much can be done with it. 

I have been wanting to make these cute little pinecones that I have been seeing around and well, I was glad to see Linda post the instructions on how to make it.  http://lindas-stampinloft.blogspot.com/2011/11/pinecone-tutorial.html#links.  It was so easy to do and soooo cute!!

I made two cones and layered them with the branch from the bird punch and topped it off with a red  bird. 
Side view to show a little of the inside.  I place another red bird on a branch on the inside, layers also with the matching old olive and early espresso from the outside.

*  cardstock colors of:  crumb cake, old olive and early espresso
*  ink colors of:  cherry cobbler, old olive and early espresso
*  punches:  bird punch, scalloped oval punch and the modern label punch
*  ribbon:  cherry cobbler seam binding ribbon
