You will place the paper in to line up with the 3-3/4" line at top of envelope punch maker just the the measurement chart on the front shows.
You will punch and score all four sides as if you are making an envelope.
Once that is complete, place the paper inside your paper cutter and line up from corner to corner.
Cut directly in half and you will end of with two pieces as picture shows above.
Use your scissors to cut the two flaps off of each side as shown in picture and the middle piece is the insert for your envelope. The bottom piece just shows where I have not cut the flaps off yet.
This shows the insert inside of the envelope.
Hope you found this easy and are ready to go out and make your own.
What size envelope was it? I am trying to get an idea of what the "geberak rule" is...
ReplyDeleteThe envelope is for a standard 4-1/4" x 5-1/2" card.

DeleteThanks so much for posting this! I've been wondering how in the world to get a liner for the regular pointed envelopes we make with the envelope maker. I had to order SU's envelopes so the liners would fit, but I prefer to make my own, so thank you!
