Good morning and thanks for joining me with Stylin' Stampin' INKspiration. Today we are sharing projects made from the retiring stamp set, Hearts a Flutter. This has been a fun set. I love the different patterned hearts and how you can also create a cute banner.
So this card is going to be given to my parents next month for their wedding anniversary. I wanted to use a deep rich color, so I went with one of our new 2014 In Colors, blackberry bliss. This is turning out to be one of my favorite new in colors. I used the matching hearts a flutter framelit set to cut out my larger heart from gold foil paper and my two smaller stamped hearts using summer starfruit ink. I wanted a special background, so I cut out a paper doily using the large sizzlit die. I even embossed with the candy stripped folder another piece of blackberry bliss cardstock for an added background layer. Using my rich razzleberry blendabilities, I colored some basic pearls to place in the center of each little flower petal.
On the inside, its kept simple to allow plenty of room for a hand written message to my parents.
I hope you have enjoyed my project card for today. Don't forget to leave some "love" and head over to our main page to see what the other design team members have created using this set.
