Paper Pierced Papillion Potpourri with PP189

Well the week has almost passed us by and its been a pretty quiet and relaxed week here at home.  Which has given me plenty of time to get my mojo a going in my craft room.  Todays card is for the Tic Tac Toe challenge over at The Paper Players.  This is always one I enjoy playing with, cause I get to pick and decide just what my challenge is.

For my tic tac toe choices, I decided the go straight across the bottom with, paper piercing, candy dots and any shade of blue (which I chose pool party).  I also decided to keep this card pretty simply and make it a get well soon card.

I always add a little something to the inside.  I kept this simple with just two stamped butterflies and one that was stamped on cardstock then punched out for a little 3-d look

The above picture shows an up close view of the paper piercing around my butterfly.  I love subtle details that add a big punch!! To finish it off with my third choice, I added two candy dots to the center of the butterfly.

Thanks for stopping by.  Don't forget to leave some "love" before heading over to The Paper Players to pick out your own tic tac toe choices!

Ink ~ basic black, pool party
Embossing Folders ~ designer frames, beautifully baroque

  1. So very pretty! I rarely use that butterfly image, but stamped in blue with the blue mats, it looks beautiful! Thanks for playing with our challenge this week!
