Sea Street Birthday Sneak Peek with PCCCS#93

Well I'm trying to slowly pull out a few of my new sneak peek items!  As a Stampin' Up! Demonstrator, we are allowed to preorder certain items from the new 2014 full catalog.  One of those items, is the ever so cute, "Sea Street" stamp set!!!  The reason I am slowing pulling things out, is that I know I have no control and will power when it comes to paper, ink and stamps!  Once I start using the new stuff, I won't want to play with what is still current anymore, but well, this poor little octopus was just so darn cute, and he was calling my name to come and play!!!

Todays card is for the card sketch over at Paper Craft Crew.  There is still time to come join in the fun!

Lets just say, that even though I had so much fun creating and putting the final touches on this challenge card, this little octopus and I had a little trouble playing nicely together!  He just wouldn't cooperate in letting me cut him out!

I think my favorite elements about this card, is the shredded burlap and the cluster of banners with the button collection.  Well, really, I love it all and I hope you do too!!

On the inside, I cut a simple scalloped tag and shaved some off the side to make it a little narrower and added again, a cluster of banners.  As always, I left plenty of room for a hand written message.
