All About The Thank You's

Good morning blog peeps!  Today I am over at Stylin' Stampin' INKspiration and we are sharing projects that's all about the "Thank You's".  One can never say thank you enough, so why not give that special someone a handmade thank you card and hand write that special note inside.

Sometimes I create a card that I like, but then there are times I create a card that I really LIKE.  This just happens to be one of those cards.  I think its because of all the yellow.  It just makes me think "SUN" and warm thoughts.  I used the crushed curry polka dots and another design from the flowerpot DSP pack.  This has been one of my favorite paper packs to use.  I stamped my flower from the petal potpourri stamp set in crushed curry and layered just a punched one in old olive for the leaves.  The thank you on the banner is from the lots of thanks stamp set and I added some bakers twine.

Supplies Used
Cardstock ~ crushed curry, whisper white, old olive
Ink ~ crushed curry, old olive
Stamp sets ~ lots of thanks, petal potpourri
DSP ~ flowerpot
Misc. ~ flower punch, crushed curry bakers twine, basic rhinestones

I hope you have enjoyed my card.  Leave some "love" and head on over to our main blog to see what the other designers created.  I just know you are gonna love them!

Floating Window Technique at SSINK

Good morning!  Today I'm over at Stylin' Stampin' INKspiration and its Technique Tuesday!  Today we are sharing projects created using the fun technique, "floating windows".  Make sure you click the link above to go see the how to video on how to create with this fun and simple technique.

I used one of the larger oval framelits to cut out my window shape, I then layered it with a clear window sheet cut down to size and stamped "congrats" on with black stazon to make it appear that it is floating along with the two stamped and punched out flowers.  On the inside I have two of the same flowers in the same spot glued down right under the outside flowers to help add a little inside decoration.

Supplies Used
Cardstock ~ whisper white, soft suede, calypso coral, crushed curry
DSP ~ best year ever (SAB item FREE with a $50 order)
Ink ~ black stazon, crushed curry, calypso coral
Stamp set ~ petal potpourri, simply wonderful (SAB item FREE with a $50 order)
Misc. ~ hodgepodge clips, twine

I hope you have enjoyed my take on the floating window technique.  Leave some "love" and head on over to our main blog to see what the other design team members have created!  Happy Stamping!
