Black and White #FM215

Good Friday morning!  Its time for another awesome challenge this week over with the creative designers at The Friday Mashup!  Amy has really come up with a fun challenge this week for us.  I hope you decide to play along!

This weeks Mashup Challenge is:
  • Create a project with "the Sketch"
  • Create a project with " 3 Elements on it"
  • or Mash it Up! and create a project with " the Sketch and 3 elements on it"

I was so excited about this weeks challenge. I knew right away I wanted to play with black and white colors and the Flower Patch stamp set.  I created a card for the display boards at convention last year for Stampin' Up and these flowers are very similar.  I added for my background stripes, some cut up typeset DSP in different widths.  Added some lace trim and black satin ribbon and I was done.

Supplies Used
Ink ~ basic black
Cardstock ~ basic black, very vanilla
DSP ~ typeset
Stamp set ~ Flower Patch
Misc. ~ lace trim, black satin ribbon, basic pearls, flower patch framelit set

I hope you have enjoyed my design team project.  Now go check out what the others have created, leave some love and come play along!

Wedding Gift Bag!

Good morning crafters!  Thanks for joining me here today while I'm creating over Stylin' Stampin' INKspiration.  Today we are sharing fun creative projects using any of the three punch boards from Stampin' Up!

My niece got married just this past weekend so I needed a small gift bag to put her gift inside.  Yes, small, cause she got $$ to put towards getting them a washer/dryer set for their new home.  I created this gift bag using the all new Gift Bag Punch Board from Stampin'.  It can create three different sizes but in any height from 4-12 in.  I also tried to decorate the outside the go along with her card using the Kinda Eclectic stamp set.  You can click here to go see it!

Supplies Used
Cardstock ~ crumb cake, whisper white, vellum
Stamp set ~ kinda eclectic, for the new two
Ink ~ pool party, basic black, crumb cake
Misc. ~ burlap ribbon, rhinestones, flower from the petite punch set, butterfly punches, paper doily, natural twine, venetian crochet trim

I hope you have enjoyed my gift bag.  Leave some "love" and go see which punch board the other designers used and what they created with it.

Ombre Fun with FM212

Good Friday morning!  Today I am on the road and headed to my sisters.  My niece is getting married this weekend and she lives a little ways away, so I'm gonna pretty much be sitting in a car for oh.... about 6 hours!!!  UGH!  But first I want to share my challenge card for todays all new challenge over at The Friday Mashup and Tara is our design leader this week!

With all this rain this week I've been craving the sun and it made me think of the wonderful ombre of yellows we have with Stampin' Up!  I highlighted the colors with simple cardstock down the side and cut a portion out with my butterfly framelit in vellum.  I wanted it simple and light.

Supplies Used
Cardstock - delightful Dijon, whisper white, so saffron, daffodil delight, crushed curry and hello honey, vellum
Stamp set - a past paper pumpkin kit
Ink - delightful dijon
Misc. - butterfly framelit set, white sequins

Thank you for stopping by to visit my blog and challenge card for this week.  Leave some "love" and make sure you visit our other designers!!
