Inspare.Create.Share 2014 Stampin' Up! Convention Swaps

Good morning and thanks for stopping by my blog this morning.  Well if you are reading this post early this morning, I am already on my plane and headed to convention!  If you are a guy, you probably don't wonna be on any flight headed to Utah right now, cause I know there will be ALOT of screaming happy woman on there!  Poor dudes, they didn't even see it coming!

For todays post, I wanted to share my "general swaps" swaps with you.  If you can find me, and your at convention too, I'd be happy to swap cards with you!

Last year I did about 75 general swaps and I participated in two organized swaps.  This year is a little different and lighter for me.  I am participating in only one organized swap (you'll get to see that card in August when we do our Blog Hop at Stylin' Stampin' INKspiration), and only 30 general swaps, 10 each of 3 different designs.

Would you like to Win a Prize?!  I know, that's a silly question!  Here is all you need to do to win.
1.  Follow my blog
2.  "Like" Ink a Doodle Creations on Facebook
3.  Leave a comment as to which is your favorite swap card.

One lucky random winner will be drawn and will receive that swap card and a special SECRET item!

Sea Street Birthday Sneak Peek with PCCCS#93

Well I'm trying to slowly pull out a few of my new sneak peek items!  As a Stampin' Up! Demonstrator, we are allowed to preorder certain items from the new 2014 full catalog.  One of those items, is the ever so cute, "Sea Street" stamp set!!!  The reason I am slowing pulling things out, is that I know I have no control and will power when it comes to paper, ink and stamps!  Once I start using the new stuff, I won't want to play with what is still current anymore, but well, this poor little octopus was just so darn cute, and he was calling my name to come and play!!!

Todays card is for the card sketch over at Paper Craft Crew.  There is still time to come join in the fun!

Lets just say, that even though I had so much fun creating and putting the final touches on this challenge card, this little octopus and I had a little trouble playing nicely together!  He just wouldn't cooperate in letting me cut him out!

I think my favorite elements about this card, is the shredded burlap and the cluster of banners with the button collection.  Well, really, I love it all and I hope you do too!!

On the inside, I cut a simple scalloped tag and shaved some off the side to make it a little narrower and added again, a cluster of banners.  As always, I left plenty of room for a hand written message.
