Tres Chic Handbags

OK, well I just can't get enough of these cute little handbags. I still have one more to create and as soon as I finish posting these, I am off to do so. Check out http://www.inkingidaho.blogspot.com/ to find this great tutorial on how to make the super cute handbags. I can't get enough of them, they are so stinking cute! They would be great for giving someone a gift card, or just to put some candy in it for a special friend or teacher. The ideas are endless. I showed my hubby one last night and he was like wow, you made that? Hope you enjoy! Can't wait to see what other new tutorials Becky comes up with, I am definitely a follower of hers!!

Tuesday Morning Sketches #82 and Diva Coffee Break Designs CC #216

I have a friend who is getting ready to have a baby, so naturally I wanted to make this card for her. I also am making this card for two challenges, http://www.tuesdaymorningsketches.blogspot.com/ and http://www.divacoffeebreakdesigns.blogspot.com/. Both are wonderful weekly challenges.

I used the sketch of tuesday morning and the colors from diva coffee break. The colors were blushing bride, early espresso and rose red. All great colors for a baby girl. Not your tradional soft pastels (which I am not a fan of anyway) I love deep rich colors.

Materials used are:
- SU! scalloped circle punch, baby bundle and itty bitty bits stamp set (both new sets for me and I love that I was able to use them right away-sometimes I can get a set and it will sit there for a while before I use it).
- Martha Stewart double loops border punch (love this one!)
- CM butterfly punch (super little butterfly to punch out-glad its the new style of punch, cause the old style of punches are driving me craazzzy-can't wait to replace them!)
- Recollections diamond rhinestone stickers

PPC-CC #49 & Stampin 411 Sketch Challenge #191

Ok, this card has been along time coming for me. I needed to do something really challenging for myself. I have been practicing making flowers this morning until I got just what I wanted. I wanted to make this such a special anniversary card and go all out for Picture Perfect Creations First Anniversary!!!! Click the links to join in the fun in these two weekly challenges: http://www.ppc-challenges.blogspot.com/ and http://www.stamping411.blogspot.com/

below is list of items used:

- SU! paper colors: Melon Mambo, Whisper White, Garden Green, Basic Gray, Black
- SU! ink colors used: black, old olive, pink parouette and pomogrante, choc. chip
- SU! tools used: scalloped circle punch and label punch, Baroque Motif, Teeny Tiny Wishes stamp sets
- Misc. items used: I used my old CM 1" & 1/2" circle punch to make petals of rose. 1" circle punch and scalloped circle punch to make the mini roses. I used my sons stencil template to make the leaf branch, cause my SU! bird punch is not here yet (I just now have ordered it) (but I do think of myself as being creative, so I use what I can find around the house!) I also used Martha Stewart fern ribbon to scatter across the top of card. I also used Recollections light gray, black and dark pink rhinestone stickers.

Mojo Monday 179 & CCCC Act 70

Well I'm back once again for two of my favorite challenges, http://www.mojomonday.blogspot.com/ and http://www.stampinwithstacey.blogspot.com/ (curtain call color challenge). I was able to make one card for both of these challenges this week-gotta love it when you can do that! When it comes to my style of card making, I try to think of myself as one who likes to keep it simple, such as "I don't like to do sewing of clothes, so I know I am not going to do sewing on paper"!! I am trying to think "Spring", so I was so glad to see the color choices for curtain call this week. Come on....Spring! And what better way to celebrate Spring, then with a colorful birdie!

I used the following items:
SU!: whisper white, tempting turq., tangerine tango, pear pizzazz, song bird stamp set and teeny tiny wishes for the "thinking of you".

Misc.: Martha Stewart Branch border punch and 3 turq. colored rhinestone stickers

I-pod Valentine's Day Hershey Bar Wraps

Ok, well what do you do for two boys for Valentines day that aren't little boys anymore?? Well my one son has a blue ipod and the other has a green ipod, soooo I decided to get each one a Hershey Choc. Bar and wrap them to match their ipod color and decorate it like an ipod. I used a misc. "Hugs & Kisses" stamp that I have for the screen of the ipod and printed off an ipod menu screen from www.familyfun.com under "rock candy". I think they turned out so cool looking!

Mojo Monday #178 and CCCC Act 69

Ok this is my take on this weeks http://www.mojomonday.blogspot.com/ and http://www.stampinwithstacey.blogspot.com/ with Curtain Call Color Challenge. This is my husbands Valentines Day card. I figured that I should actually make one that I don't show to him, all the others I show him as I make them for other challenges, well that's no good, if he already knows what it looks like!! So surprise hunny! I used the below materials:

- SU! real red, cherry cobbler, whisper white, crumb cake and very vanilla
- SU! Holiday Best stamp set along with Recollections black bling and a misc. 3" scalloped circle punch that I have. I also used the heart to heart SU! punch that I just got out of my order the other night (don't know why I had not bought this one before?!)

Cute Owl Pillow Box Bucket

Ok, we are having our family reunion dinner this Sunday in honor of my grandma's birthday, she would have been 101 this February. We are doing a fun trivia game of questions about grandma to see how well they remember her and her special ways!! The one who answers the most questions correctly will get this owl bucket with candy inside. I am also making a small mini paper album with some wallet sized family photos inside. This is my first bucket to make and have seen others on splitcoast stampers and have been wanting to try it. You can go under forums and search for pillow box bucket to get all the instructions. The picture does not do it justice, cause I used crystal effects in areas and used flaky glitter to add a feathery look to the owl. It turned out so cute, I hope you ever gets it will enjoy and keep it!

Sweet Sunday Sketch Challenge 103

Go to http://www.kgiron.blogspot.com/ and check out this weeks Sweet Sunday Sketch Challenge, its a really cute sketch. I decided to use my SU! Flower for all Seasons stamp set, since I am soooo ready for Spring time! I used so saffron, soft suede and baja breeze, and a piece of the designer paper from SU! Blueberry Crisp. A little yellow gold ribbon and some baja breeze ribbon scrunched on top of that for a little something extra. I think it turned out super springy!!

Mojo Monday 176

Well I already did a circle card for this weeks Mojo Monday sketch, but wanted to do a square one as well. I wanted to make this a Valentines Day card. For my swirl across the front, I made some cute little lady bugs. Instead of black circles on their back, I drew on white little hearts. They are my "love bugs".
