Masculine All Over June SSINK Blog Hop!

As you hop along, please be sure to comment and show some love on every blog! We are always excited to hear from our followers! You should have just left stop number #1 on the Stylin' Stampin' INKspiration Blog Hop - Diana Eichfeld with Stampin Fun With Diana . If so, you are in the right spot. If a link doesn't work or you get off track, you will find the full blog hop lineup below.

One of my favorite masculine stamp sets is The Open Sea set.  Its perfect for any male young or old.  I started with a new in color, mint macaron for the base and for a side layer, I used tip top taupe.  I love the added tied twine on the side as an added fun element.

Now head on over to your next stop and visit Melissa Stout at Stamp Doc.  Don't forget to leave some "love" as you hop along.  We always love hearing your comments on our projects!

Fish'n with Masculine Monday!

Good Monday morning!  I hope everyone had a nice weekend.  The weather here was wonderful for my Park to Park Half Marathon.  Now to get ready for the next one in November.  Today over at Stylin' Stampin' INKspiration, it's Masculine Monday.  If you are like me, I struggle sometimes with the right card to create for a guy.  Its either not having the right DSP or the right stamp set.  Well with my card, I lucked out and had both.

My masculine card using regal and neutral colors.  I decided to work with the Venetian Romance DSP pack and the By the Tide stamp set.  Together, they make the perfect masculine card.  I used the background stamp on my window frame shape.  Stamped, colored and cut out the fish.  Before attaching the fish with a foam dot, I wrapped the framelit layers with some twine.  I add some bling (yes, even a masculine card needs some kind of bling!), just a soft suede candy dot in each corner of my dsp layers.

Supplies Used
Cardstock ~ soft suede, very vanilla, island indigo
Ink ~ soft suede, island indigo, pistachio pudding
Stamp Sets ~ By the Tide, Itty Bitty Banners
Misc. ~ window frame framelit set, twine, neutral candy dots

Thanks for stopping by!  Don't forget to leave me some "love" and head over to our main blog, to see what the the design team members have created.  I hope we INKspire you to go create too!
