Stampin' Up! Artisan 2013 Non Winning Projects!!!

Well all I can say is "WOW" and "HOLY COW", what a blast of a few days I've had at convention!  It was my first time to attend and it was a whearl wind of excitment and pure fun to be able to attend this special 25th anniversary event.  I am already working hard to make plans to return next year with my awesome new friend and partner in convention crime, Breelin Renwick!!!  Over whelming at times but so worth it!  Well enough of that and onto the post subject.

I took the first step to enter this years Stampin' Up!'s Artisan challenge and even though I didn't make the top 20, I am still a winner in my book because I took it upon myself to challenge myself to be creative and enter.  I was totally shocked to be walking around all the wonderful display boards at convention and to come across not one, no not two, not even three, but 6 of my projects that I had entered into this contest.

Rules stated we had to create 5 cards, 3 scrapbook pages and 2 3-D items.  I did just that with my style in mind.  Here are my non-winning entries and the pics of those that were on display at convention!  I hope you enjoy and leave comments!  I would love to know if you remember coming across any yourself!!
#1 3-D item (this item was on display)
This was a cute square lidded box that I made with a wrap to hold the flower pin you see below.
#2 3-D item (this item was on display)
This was a sweater pin I had made using several layers of paper glued together, colored and covered in crystal affects.
#1 card (this was on display)
#2 card (this card was on display)
A very simple card using one of my favorite stamp sets.  This card was way out of my comfort zone as I like cards with lots of layers.  I am happy with how it turned out!
                                                                          #3 card
#4 card (this card was on display)
When I was thinking of the cards I wanted to make, I knew this was one of the stamps I wanted to use.  One of my favorite cards!
#5 card (this was on display)
This was my all time favorite card!  Its just so happy, fun and cheerful!!  This was the first card that I came across as I was looking at the display boards.  I was walking along, I stopped, and thought, "that card looks famililar?"  This it hit me, its my card.  I was soooo excited to see it up there and I am still in a WOW moment!
#1 scrapbook page. size 8x8.  I never came across any of these three entries.  I could tell that my style of scrapbooking is alot different than other items I saw on display.  I still love them though!
#2 scrapbook page.
#3 scrapbook page.  This was my favorite of the three cause i just love Fall, these colors together and the use of the leaf big shot die!!

Convention 2013 Halloween Paper Bag Swaps

I knew in addition to my card swaps I wanted to do a few 3-d items to swap with as well.  I took a regular size paper lunch bag and cut it down to the size I wanted then just decorated the front for a cute Halloween theme. Inside are 4 life saver mints.

If you notice, you maybe thinking, "i've never seen this stamp or DSP before"??  You haven't!!  This is a sneak peek of two new items from the 2013 Holiday Mini Catalog.  Witches' Brew DSP and Tags 4 You Stamp set!!
