Good morning...its Friday, Friday, Friday! Next to Saturday and Sunday, its my favorite day of the week! I don't think I need to tell ya why either!! Todays card is for the fun sketch challenge over at MOJO Monday and the color challenge is for Color Throwdown. I really had fun with these two together. I decided to break out an use my Blessed Easter stamp for the first time and use the soft colors of blushing bride, pear pizzazz, sahara sand and early espresso, for an early Mother's Day card. I really do think the two worked very well together.
I used my aqua painter and did a little water coloring with the tulips to give them a soft appearance. The cute little banners along the are made using the banner punch from the Sale-a-Bration catalog. I am so in love with this little fella!
One of the other elements of this card, that adds a soft touch are the pearls. I added a small one to the center of each little flower and three larger ones around the side of the circle.
And as always, I like to show the inside of my card. Not always as detailed as the outside, but just as important. I believe that the inside can be the most important at times, cause its where the writing goes that comes from the heart!
I hope you have enjoyed my take on the sketch and color challenge. Don't forget to leave some "love" before checking out. I hope you have a blessed weekend full of warm sunshine and fun times!
