Elegantly Shaped

Good morning bloggers and thanks for joining me here with Stylin' Stampin' INKspiraiton.  Today we are sharing with you, shaped cards!  So many of us get in a rut of making our cards using the same old standard shape and size of 4-1/4' x 5-1/2".  Well that's all good, but we all need to step outside the box and create fun shaped cards!  My card today is made using the Labels Framelit Collection and the Ovals Framelit set.  I will have a short picture tutorial tomorrow on my blog as a separate post for those who would like to recreate it.

This is what it looks like displayed open.  The way the base of the card is made and folded it can sit up for display.  You can see this in the picture below a little bit better.

And this is what it looks like all folded up.  This card has a finished measurement of 5-1/2" x 4-1/2" (about).  Just a little bigger than your standard A2 card, but with the envelope punch maker, you can easily make an envelope to fit.

Card Supplies:
Stamp set:  Best of Greetings
Cardstock:  coastal cabana, whisper white, crushed curry
Ink:  coastal cabana
Misc.:  labels and ovals framelit sets, scalloped oval punch, med. oval punch, coastal cabana ruffled ribbon, basic rhinestones, paper piercer and templates.

All these supplies can be purchased HERE!
