Bloom with Hope for PP201

Good morning and thanks for visiting my blog today.  Todays challenge card is for the sketch over at The Paper Players.  I love simple sketches like these.  Here is the sketch....

and here is what I create...

One of my favorite designer series paper packs right now is Typeset.  I not only love the black and white color but I love the thin newspaper texture it has.  I used the large flower from the Bloom with Hope hostess set and stamped it twice on a newspaper sheet.  I fussy cut it out and attached in layers.  I also stamped the center of the flower on cherry cobbler and added some black colored pearls to the center.

On the inside I stamped the same flower in black on top of a very vanilla circle and added a few matching banners to the left of it.

Supplies Used
Cardstock ~ basic black, very vanilla, cherry cobbler
Ink ~ basic black
Stamp set ~ Bloom with Hope
DSP ~ Typeset
Misc. ~ basic pearls, black sharpie marker, venetian crochet trim, banner punch, project life cards & labels framelit set

Thanks again for stopping by. I hope you have enjoyed my challenge project.  Leave some "love" and come back tomorrow to see what I have been creating.

Cynthia, I just love how you stamped the flower on newsprint and added the detailed center. Gorgeous! Thank you for joining us this week at the Paper Players! :)
