Oh, Hello!!

Good morning and thanks for stopping by.  Today over at Stylin' Stampin' INKspiration, we are sharing projects made from the retiring stamp set "Oh, Hello".  It is always sad to see our beloved stamp sets retire and leave, but when one door closes, another opens and you know what that means right??  We are gearing up and getting ready for new stamp sets to make their way in!

With my card, I went with wisteria wonder as my card base and very vanilla as a layer that was embossed with the chevron folder.  I inked up my brayer and cover my paper doily in crushed curry.  I really wanted it top pop off my card with its deep rich color.  The DSP banners are from the "afternoon picnic".  I stamped and cut out the chevron pattern from the stamp set and added it to the center of the doily.  On top of that, I stamped "Oh, Hello" in coastal cabana on a cut out from the apothecary accents framelit set.  For my final detail, I cut two pieces of natural chevron ribbon, cut banner tails and added a button on top.

If you follow my blog at all, you know that when I create a card, I always like to share with you the inside too.  I keep it simple with stamping and make sure to allow room for a hand written message.  In this case, I did three simple stamps down the side in pear pizzazz, crushed curry and coastal cabana.
